Thanks

The homeowner mentioned the equipment has not been changed out since the home was built in 1985.

I could not find any info on cond at ariprimenet.org

I thought it was a little lower seer rating.

I think Sarge is our local Lennox expert, go to the member list and shoot him a private message.

An '85 ??? I would guess a 7 S.E.E.R., but thats strickly a guess ( probably not a good one either )

My house has been using more and more juice since 1991 when we moved in. (was built in 1984-85)
Several things are happening but repairs are not going to be cheap.
For one my duct work was crap, most has been replaced except the hard to get to areas.
The siding is that recalled stuff, I think, any way it falls a part at the seal/slab area. Then seal plate rots out. Massive air gets in and out now.
Insulation is crap and not even there in some places, found that out using IR tmom in summer time, large areas about size of a bat (2'x4'?) are most likely missing.

I hope to get this stuff fixed soon but work needs to pick up first then I will be too busy to do it
